As we approach each neighbor we must know how to let go of everything we are doing that is beautiful,good and useful (even briefly if duty should call us to move on) in order to be ready to "make ourselves one" with that person in everything. We "make ourselves one" even to the point of being ready to die for him or her. This is Christianity. Chiara Lubich
