Faith in God's love for every creature, a hallmark of Christians, is something we have found present also in many of our brothers and sisters of other religions, beginning with the Abrahamic faiths which affirm the unity of the human race, God's care for all humanity and the duty of every human being to imitate the creator in his overwhelming mercy toward all.
